Anyone else heard of the band Wolfmother? Because I just heard their album tonight and it kicks fuckin' ass! If anyone wants to give 'em a go, let me know and I'll upload. They're rock/indie, quite on the heavy side - and totally awesome, fo' real.

OK so...Rocco De Luca. People! Go see him if you get the chance/are at all interested in his stuff. He was so cool. I mean, I'm a fan of anyone with a voice like that, who can play the guitar like that but he really blew me away. The music was really blusey, toal rock, quite gospel and it just screamed emotion. And heart. You could see he really puts himself into what he writes and into the way he plays it. Beautiful to see and his voice is gorgeous. Just unbelievably talented - wow, could I gush any more? Probably not. Also, he appears to be a complete sweetheart - as he finished the set, he told the entire room that he was going to be hanging out at the back in a little while and he wanted to meet everyone there. I've never seen someone make themselves accesible like that and he was also really funny and self-deprecating. He communicated with the audience rather than just standing and playing and then leaving. Fantastic, it was.

So. On that note, I go to shower and then write stuff that is long overdue.
