It's the Daily Mail, dude. Of course they're gonna make out like it's destroying the fabric of civilisation. *hates that paper so much* It's a really slanted article. Tesco are evil, yeah, but it's a fairly clearly adult thing, and marketed as such, you know? Anyone who buys it as a children's toy is an idiot.

The Daily Mail does, indeed, suck ass. And I don't think that pole dancing kits will destroy the fabric of civilisation or anything but its certainly not something I'd want a kid of mine to have. It was in the 'Toy' section of the website, so...no. Sold as an adult thing, I've got no problem with it. But, ick for kids.

Yeah, I get you, and I think Tesco were being... odd. And dubious. But I also think that the packaging is not packaging which is child-aimed, if you get me? As in, people should be able to tell that it is not for children.

It is deeply weird, however.

One would certainly hope so! However (and I'm about to be a horrible snob) I suspect there are some chavvy people who would go 'Toy section...Pink! Little Chardonnay would love that for Christmas to go with her new Burberry hat...' and buy it. Y'know?
