Is 27 too old to go goth? I was trying out green eyeshadow a little while ago because I've had it for about ten years and never used it and then suddenly lunged for the black eyeliner and ended up drawing all over my face. I suppose, to be a goth, I should first find out what kind of music is passable to be a genuine one but in all honesty, I think I just like drawing on my face. Though I am totally thinking about dying the tips of my hair - what colour, I don't know. Not much really works with auburn.
ETA: I feel compelled to add that the face-drawing included a moustache. A black moustache.
...oh yeah. I am so goth, man. *makes sign of devil* (Or is that just for metalheads?)
In more regular things - if people have emailed me or commented on something in the past few days and not received a reply...I've just found out that gmail has stopped notifying me of things. But I can't remember what people have said to me and what I've replied to and seen etc, so please to be just pretending I haven't totally ignored you and said something wonderful and witty to boot?
Say thankya.
And the urge to do something cool with myself won't go away. Also, I have just learned that my sister is thinking of going back to college to do ...stagemanaging.
If she does, I will cry. And I never cry.

Date: 2006-10-23 10:15 pm (UTC)So what I'm basically trying to say is, I'd be envious. And resentful that she'd be taking a course as a hobby, that I'd like to do as a career. I just kind of think that that sort of thing is something you need to throw yourself into heart and soul and not do because you get a whim one day.
If any of that made sense, I will be so impressed with myself.

Date: 2006-10-23 10:54 pm (UTC)Hee! We drew...well, all over everything. Shirts, bags, books, faces...it was cool. They even took us out for the day so we could do it in peace and not disturb the rest of the school, heh. The last day of school was totally the best. I couldn't wait to be rid of the place.
