You know I'll be there
Sep. 23rd, 2006 12:01 amI have, in my possession, an application form for the University of Oxford.
This makes me squee so much. OK, so they might not even see me for interview. If they find out about my previous penchant for dropping out of Uni to go abroad and have a lot of fun, they certainly won't. But still. It's awesome! Oxford was always my plan when I was a kid and nothing got in my way except myself. At least this way I'll know I tried, even if I fail. And I'm not one of those people who don't tell anyone what they're attempting in case they dont make it. So OK, in a month or two I might post with I'VE TOTALLY BEEN REJECTED!!1! Heigh ho. That'll just be the way it goes. At least I'll have tried.
In other news, life continues on. I must stop drinking every night after work. Yes. Really must.
...and omg, there's a bloke I work with that I want to sleep with so badly. Youch! I wouldn't go out with him if you paid me but he'd be a hell of a lot of fun for a night or two, no doubt about it. Judging by the amount of flirting, the feeling may be mutual but the potential for debacle - given that I see him every single day - is so large that I'm all 'hmmm' about the whole thing. Plus, he has a half-psychotic girlfriend.
But still. Is v. much fun. :D!
And now I go to worry about writing an impressive personal statement that will make Oxford want to grab me, and then crash as must work in six hours.
HEE!

Date: 2006-09-24 12:10 am (UTC)Although, are you sure? Maybe you're right. They just call it 'English' though - maybe its the only type they think counts, or something. But still. Squee! :D!

But then, it's far too late for Oxford now. The Oxbridge folks at Ciren have been having meetings about it since they began here.
