Hahahaha! After months of being annoyed by my stupid hair, I finally said 'enough' and got Housemate Jen to hack two inches off it. My head feels three stone lighter, I swear. Sooo much better. It was starting to go into ringlets and hello? 21st Century, man, natural ringlets are not of the cool. The only thing stopping me from reaching for the clippers and sending it back to an inch long like it used to be is that it's taken 3 years to get it this long and I'm not getting rid of it before I actually learn to do a hairstyle. (No, I don't own...anything. Not straightners, not even a hair dryer, let alone any fancy products to ease frizz or fix dryness or whatever. The chances of me learning to do a style? Are nil. I can't even plait it)
So there. More about my hair than you ever needed to know, but OMG it feels so good to get rid of some of it. *glees*

When it's long you can just pull it back and it looks neat enough. But you'll prolly want a blowdryer at least. Learning to braid is easy. As for styling, layers and blowdrying can usually achieve something acceptable, but if it's really curly, I'd deffo recommend looking at style magazines or websites for detailed ideas, because many times, for something specific, the cut has to be edited to fit the style you're going for.
More than likely you wont need too much in the way of products though, if it's not ungodly frizzy.
