Haven't posted for a while, mainly because blah. It's werid that since I changed my layout to one without a visible calendar, I don't feel the need to update so much. For the month of April, I felt weird if I missed a day. Hmmm.

Anyway. I'm getting sucked into a new fandom. Yes people, Queer as Folk kicks ass. The US version, I mean - I watched the UK version on the weekend and it's not bad. But the men aren't as pretty and the acting was definitely dodgy in places. It doesn't help that the the main actors from it are all fairly well known in the UK and it's also widely known that they're straight - they didn't quite pull off the illusion that they were gay. For me, anyway. I have no such problems with the US version.

So, it rocks. I'm almost done with season 2 and then onwards for S3! I'm not sucked in to the extent that I want to contribute in any way - though I suppose I could write a fic or two, maybe - but still, very much fun.

Real life news - blah again. Spent the day cleaning. My mother arrives tomorrow and she'll decide that I cleaned because she's visiting, when in actual fact it just needed doing and it would be rude to do it while she's here. Whatever. She's bringing food, so I'll deal with her comments.

Hm, parents are always the same... But as long as you know that you cleaned because the house had to be cleaned and not because she is visiting... :) I remember that our parents called us once to remind us that we have some cleaning to do but my sister just replied cooly that we had already licked the floor clean... :) But then... Have fun with your mum...

QAF rocks. When it first came out in America my friend and i used to download every week and obsess over Brian. If you watch out, every coupla months E4 sticks it on late at night when they have nothing better to do. lol.

Heh, Brian is pretty cool. I like his attitude. And it would be cool to watch it on TV but I don't have Sky/Cable/Digital/Whatever. Ah well, I'll just download the rest. :)
