American Beauty.

Why? Because it's stunning. Because Kevin Spacey is an utter legend. Because it makes me laugh and cry and the first time I saw it, I was speechless for about an hour. So was my flatmate, who I saw it with. We went home and talked about it for about three hours and still couldn't articulate all the ways it moved us.

I saw it sixteen times before it left the movie theatre. It kind of took over my life for a while. Absolutely amazing film.

Yeah, he really is. I loved him in KPAX and one of my top ten all time favourites is The Usual Suspects.

The Usual Suspects is my second favourite film! It still gives me chills when I watch the ending, even though I've seen it a dozen times. And how close have I come to apping Verbal to the bar in the past? Very, is how. But heh, his true self is not that much different to Ramon so I have resisted.

And great. Now I need that shirt too. *grabby hands*

I agree, also. He's far more calculating - hell, the film shows how patient he is. Ramon's more fury and impulse. That difference almost convinced me that I could play them both but when it comes down to it, the 'kill you and your family and your friends and their friends' etc is not much different to the psycho I already know and love. :D
