I'm rolling thunder, pouring rain

THINGS I LOVE:
Evie had a lovely first birthday. Can't believe she's one already! There will photos in the near future.
AC/DC's latest album is released on Monday. EEEEEEEEEE!
THINGS I HATE:
My own lameness. On doing a check to find out when said album was to be released, it also occurred to me to check when the tickets for their tour would be on sale. Friday. As in, yesterday. CAN WE SAY SOLD OUT ALREADY?! FUCKFUCKFUCK. So now I will have to resort to spending £200+ on ebay for one. Gutted.

Date: 2008-10-18 11:21 pm (UTC)But she was tiny and born the other day! WHUT. This is confusing me, Write.
And aww, man, that sucks about AC/DC (actually, that reminds me *goes to pull out the AC/DC stuff to rip onto laptop). I love them. My mum's seen them live (they played at her high school dance, which she argues was a good side to going to a rough school), but, aw man, they'd be awesome to see on tour.

Date: 2008-10-18 11:33 pm (UTC)And you're right, it does indeed suck monkey balls. You should be able to go see them though, if you want to - it's an 18 month world tour and seeing as all but one of them are Australian - sort of - I'm sure they'll get over to you as well. I'm just hoping they finish it off back in England. More likely they'll end it in Oz though and I bet it'll be their last ever tour.
Also, am well jealous of your mum.
Edited 'cos I can't spell

Date: 2008-10-19 11:37 am (UTC)Yes. I was a Cesearion, so mum was in the surgery place instead of the maternity ward. Surgeries are colder, and the foil keeps the heat in better than blankets.

Date: 2008-10-19 10:32 am (UTC)Sometimes I feel like Liam was just born yesterday, a tiny bundle I could hold with one arm.
He'll be nine on the 29th! *sob*
I *have* to get pictures of Liam in his Jedi costume. He looked awesome. :)

Date: 2008-10-20 07:11 pm (UTC)Wow, Liam will be nine? That's...only a year away from double figures! That must be seriously scary, he'll be a teenager before you know it. And you definitely must get pics and show us - I bet he looks cute as anything in a Jedi costume. :)

Date: 2008-10-19 10:45 am (UTC)The AC/DC concert here in Gothenburg was sold out in 6 minutes! LOL We never had a chance...
And somehow I know that the new album is good... ;) Ludde loves AC/DC and insists on listening to it in the car all the time! He's adorable singing along to Thunder Struck! :DD
(He also loves saying "Mark Lanegan sucks - AC/DC are the best" - the little brat!)

Date: 2008-10-20 07:13 pm (UTC)Ugh, I am so depressed over the concert situation. I want to go more than anything and will no doubt end up paying through the nose for a ticket off Ebay - it might be their last tour, I don't want to miss out! I'm just gutted I didn't even realise the date they went on sale.
The new album is awesome! I have uploaded it for anyone who wants it. And Ludde obviously has brilliant taste!

Date: 2008-10-20 07:25 pm (UTC)I know how you feel though! I bought tickets to the Mark Lanegan & Isobel Campbell concert in London because I thought I'd die if I didn't get to see him live (again!)! And then they announce the concert in Copenhagen and... Dammit, I wanna go to that one too!
I'm looking forward to the new Evie pics! :)

Date: 2008-10-20 07:48 pm (UTC)I totally will... Hehe
The only thing stopping me is if I don't get enough work on the ship this month. Since the move we need my income more and Stena Line has transferred staff around so my temporary job (which was full-time) disappeared - hopefully only for a short period of time but it's still no fun... (For instance - I'm going out Wednesday instead of today this week.) But at least I know I'm the first one they call when they need someone in the shop onboard! :)
I really really wanna go to both concerts…
