So much for premonition dreams. The 5th has come and gone...still not king no Scribble. *sigh*

On the plus side, there are worse ways to spend a Friday evening than by watching a rather gorgeous Jonathan Rhys-Meyers portraying Henry VIII in a dashing I-will-shag-any-woman-that-breathes type way. I mean that literally, not just that he gave off that impression. I think he did, in fact, shag every woman on screen. Apart from his wife but that was only because she was off praying at the time. Anyway. There's a whole series of it! And it also has the gorgeous Jeremy Northam in it and I was all YAY at the beginning because there was Sean Pertwee as well, only he only lasted about two minutes. And Sam Neill! And I don't know who the dude is who plays Buckingham but he's hot also. Yum.

I woke up this morning at 07:20 after three hours sleep, convinced it was 7:20pm. It took about ten minutes to figure out which end of the day it was and that sort of set the tone for everything else. It's been an odd kind of abstract day.

Having just watched it with the volume actually turned up...man, it must be a trailer for the Yanks or something. The BBC ones are all 'SEX! WAR! FIGHTING!' with all rousing blood-curdling music and whatnot. Much cooler! But you get an idea of the pretty anyway and that's totally the reason to watch.
