Because I am playing with the new technology (being my new scanner thingy, God knows how to make it photocopy), y'all get picspam. And because I just developed a roll of film that has the dogs on it, you get them. Oh, and a couple taken in Ireland last year.

I think she thought I was going to tell her to get off the sofa, hence the look.

Ain't it though? There's about ten houses in a ten mile radius or something. Utterly silent and just...amazing. :D!

I wish we had scenery like that here. In parts of Texas it's just -- grass, dirt, more dirt, a football stadium, dirt, dirt, dirt.

But that's awesome too! I liked Texas the few times I've been through it, and that's part of the reason why. It's so empty. I like space like that.

Haha, have you been to Lubbock? Three classmates and I went there for an academic competition and all we could smell was manure, no matter where we went, and it was basically however-many-thousand square miles of DIRT.

Apparently the best thing the city has to offer is that they came up with some guy named Buddy Holly or whatever, I have no idea who he is.

Awwww doggies! SO CUTE. Are they all yours?

Those pictures are beautiful. It's almost like an untouched world.

Nah, none of them are. All three belong to Housemate Jen - and Bertie died in the summer. The reason one of his eyes looks a bit weird is because he had a tumour - these were taken the week before we found out and he was put down. :( He was so gorgeous. But now the other two are gone as well, as Jen has moved away. I won't see them for a few months and miss them madly.

And dude, alot of Ireland is like that and it really is untouched to a large degree. There are quite a few places that don't really like non-Irish people either - this is one of them actually, although I've never really had a problem there.

Awwww. Poor doggie. He looks so lively too - that must have been really really hard.

But you have roots so that's different or....not.

i know what you mean about your dog being all space-y
my dog Megen
is like that all day
she can stair at a wall for hours
and then get up
walk to another wall
and repeat.
and the pictures of Ireland are really pretty
it looks so calm and open
don't see a lot of that in FL
just asphalt and old people
=D

Ha! Tiga's not spacey. She's a spazz. And just thick. But utterly adorable too, I love her!

And Ireland - yeah. Definitely calm and pretty - this part of it anyway. Most of its pretty but not all of its calm. Like, at all.
