I don't know a single British football fan that doesn't love it. The operative word being I. My housemate is proudly Scottish, but she likes it. I'm half Irish, I have family in Wales and several Welsh mates and they all like it too. I wasn't speaking for the UK as a whole, or even Britain as a whole - just my experience of it.
