I have finished the jigsaw. This makes me sad as it was fun and also because I am now back to having nothing to do.

Mum is going to bring me some knitting needles. She confused the issue somewhat by asking, 'what size?' but I cleverly dealt with the query by replying, 'Oh, I dunno. Just whatever.' See how I did that?

And the main point of this entry is to go MWHAHAHAHAHAHA! GO ENGLAND! Because after a week of listening to Australians laugh about how the England rugby team are crap, I feel no qualms whatsoever about gloating over the fact that we just knocked them out of the World Cup! *GLEE*

The joy was tempered somewhat by the realisation that this would undoubtedly mean that we'd face the All Blacks in the semi-final because there wasn't a chance that France would beat them in their game, right? Right. Everyone agreed that it was about as likely as something not very likely at all.

Only, y'know. They did. So it's an England v France semi-final next week and Lord, that's a much more pleasing prospect for our chances of winning the tournament again.
