HI! I have been gone for a while, aye. Have barely even checked my flist for a month or so. Moving house has been mental. Anyway! Evie is wonderful and I can't believe she's going to be one in about three weeks. I can't believe how fast this year has gone.

Steve is also continuing to be awesome and as of next week, will be looking after her one day a week on his own while I'm at college. Ha! I don't think he knows what he's let himself in for but he didn't even hesitate when I asked him if he'd look after her so he's obviously keen. He's even been asking me what birthday presents he should get her etc - I can hardly believe he was once such a bastard. I am SO lucky.

College is...college. Just something to be done four days a week. Always nice to learn stuff, though I'm just looking forward to being back at University now. This time next year! Hurrah!

And that's about it as far as my life goes right now. Nearly finished decorating the new house, one more weekend should do it. Then I just have to straighten out al my belongings and I can go back to having a life (and by that, I clearly mean 'go back to spending every evening on the internet,' heh).

Oh, it sounds like things are going awesomely for you and I am so glad. :) Esp. regarding Evie and the babydaddy. I'm glad that he's so open and stuff.

We're all fine here, though Liam got strep and has the NASTIEST MEDICINE EVAR to take for it. He's almost nine and in third grade. He's up to my shoulder now. Getting so big!

I'm still in the same job I've been in--over a year at this job now, yay! Joe is substitute teaching and working at the community center teaching computers still. We're all doing pretty darn good, all things considered.

That's awesome to hear! Did Joe get his college problem sorted? He wanted to go back to do his Masters, didn't he? But there was some problem with his original degree not being recognised? (I hope I got that right).

Ugh, medicine. Poor Liam. It's awful when they get sick, isn't it? Evie has had a stomach virus for the last three weeks in a row - she'd be fine at the beginning at of the week but ill on Thursday/Friday. And then recover at the weekend only to catch it again at the beginning of the next week. The mess was quite horrendous but she, luckily, seems to have shaken it now.

The college he was originally entered in was...sort of useless. He has to jump through a few hoops but eventually he'll be able to start for his masters soon. His degree is fine for all normal purposes--unless the college is unreasonable. Pleh.

Yeah. Liam is feeling much better now. The antibiotics are doing their thing. It was way worse when he was an infant and couldn't tell us anything. Sorry to hear that Evie's been sick.

But I hope she has a great first birthday! Time flies when you have kids! *hugs*
