Do your thang...do your thang...
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1) What was your initial impression of me?
Wow, it was almost a year ago now and it's hard to remember. If I remember rightly, our first AIM convo was not long after Arithon and Ramon started talking in the bar - and I remember thinking you quite formal but very sweet. Formal, because everyone else I'd AIM'd with about the bar (and bear in mind that I was a total newbie, in every way it was possible to be) used words like 'tag' when having posted, and 'pup' for their character, while you use 'posted' and 'character'. So I think I had the impression of someone quite staid, but very nice and easy to talk to - and you were easy to discuss plot with too, which was nice. I also think I thought you quite private - and I think I still do, though not to the same degree. This may be because I always think it terribly rude to pry into other people's business of course, and therefore rarely ask personal questions.
2) Which is more important in a potential mate: good voice or good shoulders?
Hmmm. Tough one that. Because I'm less likely to find a dude attractive if he's got a squeaky voice than if he's got thin shoulders. But then, nice shoulders are things of beauty. Hmm. I'd have to say voice is more important I think - physique can be worked on, after all. Though I'd never ask a man to change his body for me - if I'm with him, then it's because I'm happy with it the way it is anyway.
3) If you could be totally invulnerable and immortal as long as you never had alcohol again, would you take that bargain?
Hell yes. I love drinking, but I don't need to do it. I rarely do at the moment anyway because it's too expensive, and I don't miss it. I would have ten years ago, but not so much now. So yeah - for invulnerability and immortality? Hell yes.
4) Have you ever dyed your hair? If not, would you?
I have, but only briefly. When I was on a flying two-week visit to NYC in April 2002, I was suddenly reminded that I'd always wanted to dye my hair black. So I did. Black's a bit of a chicken colour to me though, because with my colouring there's no way it could look bad. Plenty of Irish people with black hair instead of red.
The really amusing part is when I'd grown that out and decided to try the other thing I'd wanted to try, which was going platinum white. People had told me about pre-lightening stuff but I, in my infinte wisdom, pooh-poohed the idea. And so, ended up with a nice mixture of bright orange, silver and yellow. And it was permanent dye.
Luckily I had a thing of black left and just sent it dark again. I'd still like to try it one day, but I'd go to a salon this time.
5) Which would you pick: Nyarlathotep as your personal Dream, or constant hangovers?
Nyarla. Without question. Might sound strange, given that I don't get hangovers nless I drink a lot of Scotch. But the times I have - yeah, I wouldn't want to take that kind of queasiness and headaches and lethargy permanently. I'd choose nightmares over that any day. At least nightmares can be interesting and generally changeable. :)
